I was listening to an Irish American debate about the troubles when "Sunday Bloody Sunday" was playing and he was like, "oh, and I'm an atheist." If you don't understand why that'd be completely fucking irrelevant, then you know nothing about the North |

Have not heard this many American accents.....well, since I was last in America. St. Paddy's Day is for the Americans, the tourists, or both. |

Annoyances: 1) Seminars. If you didn't do the reading, don't fucking show up. I don't think it's particularly fair for me to do the prep work and show up so I can spend a stupid hour of my life sitting there while the seminar leader explains Wadda v. Ireland to you. Do the reading.
2) That the Constant Gardener didn't get any nominations or anything. Much better movie than Brokeback. But Munich did, which is good. Loved it. |

| | The Wild Rose Random Brutal Love Dreamer (RBLDf)
shmolorful, but unpicked. You are The Wild Rose.
Prone to bouts of cynicism, sarcasm, and thorns, you excite a certain kind of man. Hoping to gather you up, he flirts and winks and asks you out, ultimately professing his love. Then you make him bleed. Why? Because you're the rare, independent, self-sufficient kind of woman who does want love, but not from a weakling.
You don't seem to take yourself too seriously, and that's refreshing. You aren't uptight; you don't over-plan. Romance-wise, sex isn't a top priority--a true relationship would be preferable. For your age, you haven't had a lot of bonafide love experience, though, and this kind of gets to core of the issue. You're very selective.
Your exact opposite: The Dirty Little Secret
 Deliberate Gentle Sex Master
| The problem is them, not you, right? You have lofty standards that few measure up to. You're out there all right, but not to be picked up by just anyone.
"You're never truly single as long as you have yourself."
ALWAYS AVOID: The Bachelor
CONSIDER: The Vapor Trail. |

So basically, this year was kind of an even balance.
On the positives: I started the year with the boyfriend, broke up with him, had another boyfriend, got my heart stomped on, and now ended the year with a brand new boyfriend. Jesus Christ, it sounds so impressive in print.
I left for college, which has been an amazing experience. I've learned about adjusting to another culture, to living with people who have completely different viewpoints, and to really, really self-regulate my work.
I had an internship that taught me how annoying people are and looked awesome on my resume. I job-shadowed at the Attorney General's office, which helped me figure out that I LOVE public interest law.
My life is good.
On the negatives: I still miss my Davy so so so much.
Adjusting to college was hard. Doireann was so much help, but at the beginning, the cultural differences were killing me.
My jobs were mind-numbing experiences.
So an even draw? |

I like Maximo Park (but if they think LONDON's far away, they should go to the States.) I like how you can tell they're geordies. |
